Donate

Dear friends of Sin Fronteras,

Everything done by Sin Fronteras is possible thanks to volunteers and your support. Everything that is donated, whether it's money, time, or anything else, to Sin Fronteras goes directly to the youth we serve. This is perhaps one of the most unique aspects of Sin Fronteras. Our "staff" are all volunteers and we could do better financially. Until then, we will continue to provide services to vulnerable, underserved youth in conflict with the law free of charge, as we have been doing since 2000.

Recently we held a special event for the boys at Challenger Memorial Youth Center in Lancaster. More than 50 boys listened intently to writer Luis J. Rodriguez (author of "Always Running") as he described his life story, how he became a writer, and more importantly, how the young men were at an optimal point in their lives where positive changes could be made.

At that event, we were joined by three new volunteers who made their first trip to Challenger. One of them committed to help us at Challenger at least one Saturday a month. Another purchased Luis's books to donate for the boys. The others will help educate community members about the needs of the boys, the challenges they face when they return to their communities, and the gifts and strength they hold, just waiting to be discovered and used for the right purpose.

Please share with your circle of friends and acquaintances what you know of Sin Fronteras and the youth we serve. Please take some time to consider helping us, in whatever way you can. As always, your donations are tax-deductible and they go directly to the work with do with the youth. No fancy fundraising firm, no six-figure salaries for anyone, no waste whatsoever. Your help means too much to us!

You may ask: "how can I help?", or "Where does my money go?" Here's where it goes:

*project supplies, such as composition books, stationary, art supplies, writing utensils, books, copying/printing, snacks and drinks, etc. for the boys and for volunteer orientation

*gasoline to travel to Challenger

*office space to work with the boys once they are relased to their communities

That's it friends. Everything you give, goes to directly to program and services.
